The School's SEN Lead, Mrs Jacqui Rudolph and SENCO, Mrs Devorah Abenson, oversee SEND issues in the Sixth Form. Students with an EHCP continue to be supported by the SEND department, together with quality first teaching from their Sixth Form teachers who ensure that the students' needs are catered for within the classroom.  Small class sizes are beneficial to those with SEND.  Access arrangements are taken into consideration when assessments take place.

Access arrangements for Sixth Form students are continued from Key Stage 4, if these are still appropriate and if teachers support the need for the arrangements.    Some students may experience difficulties after the transition to Sixth Form and if assessments are required for new access arrangements, these will be carried out by the SEN Department.
