PSHE and RSE
Our PSHE and RSE programme runs in conjunction with the Kodesh Department and the Sixth Form Tutor team. It is taught within the ethos of the school and in accord with British Values. All Sixth Form students have a timetabled weekly form time session with a Sixth Form tutor. These sessions incorporate a curriculum of explicitly taught PSHE and RSE topics.
We integrate PSHE and RSE with the tenets of Judaism and ensure that our girls can relate to the topics taught. Students will record what they have learnt in their PSHE/RSE exercise books.
External speakers are invited to run sessions on specific, specialised areas such as personal, physical and internet safety. As per government guidelines, our Sixth Form students are given the opportunity to opt-out of aspects of the RSE curriculum that are not culturally appropriate to them.
