Curriculum

Menorah High School for Girls aims to prepare Jewish girls to meet the challenges of life in the 21st century as upright law-abiding British citizens whilst remaining true to their religious convictions and ever proud of their unique heritage.  This is achieved by providing the highest level of Jewish and Secular Education in an environment encouraging a “joie de vivre” and a love of learning.

Our belief is that every child should be given the tools to achieve the best that she can.

Our curriculum is broad, balanced and offers pupils opportunities to grow as individuals as well as learners. We value the spiritual and moral development of each pupil as well as her intellectual and physical growth.

Through a combination of teaching and learning techniques and our extra-curricular activities, we aim to ensure that pupils enjoy learning, acquire knowledge and skills and build their morality, resilience and self-esteem. They are thus prepared for modern life after school in a way that is faithful to Jewish values.

We recognise that pupils should be challenged in their schooling, taking into account their particular talents, challenges and vulnerabilities. Learning from failures and celebrating successes, pupils are imbued with a sense of their potential and discover opportunities to develop their own interests.
