ASSESSMENTS

· Students need to study at least 5 different cultures and artists to inspire them with ideas for their own design

· At least 10 linear drawings of different designs

· Two different motif linear drawings

· Final design painted in acrylic paint

· Learning proportions and dimensions of the body in linear form

· Making a mannequin using tin foil and mod rock focusing on measurements.

· Learning proportions and dimensions of the face.

· Shading of the face.

· Using clay, sculpting the features.

· Refresher course on measuring proportion and dimensions of an object, focusing on shape and form.

· Shading objects.

· Colour marking.

How we support learning:

Each student is given individual attention times which vary according to each student’s ability and understanding of the topic she is studying.
Students are always welcomed outside of the classroom as necessary.
Lower ability students have teacher support where necessary.
Students vary with their ability and are encouraged individually to extend their knowledge according to their level, to produce work of a higher standard.
