EXTERNAL SET EXAM TOPIC

How we support learning:

  • Students are encouraged and expected to be more independent.
  • Students sit and discuss and analyse each other’s work with the teacher.
  • Verbal assessments are given on each piece of work
  • Each student is given individual attention times which vary according to each student’s ability and understanding of the topic she is studying.
  • Students are always welcomed outside of the classroom as necessary.
  • Students vary with their ability and are encouraged individually to extend their knowledge and work using different more complex movements and artists according to their level, to produce higher level work

How parents can support learning

  • Support homework activities
  • Students need a designated area to work in, as work often exceeds 5 hrs and takes up a lot of room.
  • Incorporate visits to places of historical interest and art galleries
